TWO women took on a three-legged walk from Poole to Wimborne for TroopAid.
Jasmine Smith and sister-in-law Gemma Trim, both 28, were tied together at Poole Quay before setting out for Wimborne’s Royal British Legion.
Their challenge was also a way of saying thank you to Dorset’s TroopAid representative John Howarth, whose son Trooper Andrew Howarth was killed in Afghanistan in 2010, for supporting Jasmine when her mum died recently.
The pair collected donations on the way and handed out glow sticks to anyone donating £1 or more.
As a town, Wimborne has already raised £25,000 for TroopAid.
