RESIDENTS in Bournemouth’s Redhill and Northbourne ward are casting their vote in a by-election today.
The by-election was called following the resignation of former council leader Peter Charon and there are nine candidates.
Voting is taking place until 10pm in four polling stations across the ward. The count will take place at the Town Hall immediately after the polls have closed.
The nine candidates are: Nicholas Atkinson for UKIP; David D’Orton-Gibson for the Conservatives; Paul Graham, Independent; Sandra Hale, Green Party; Jo Kennedy for Labour; Pat Lewis for the Liberal Democrats; Claire Smith, Independent; Colin Smith, British National Party and Peter Woodley, Independent.
