ALL roads lead to the dance floor over the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee bank holiday weekend with a host of DJ royalty. Club legend Carl Cox makes a rare appearance in Bournemouth when he plays at The Old Fire Station on Sunday.
The three deck wizard will be supported by Jon Rundell with more acts to be confirmed.
Cox rose to fame during the acid house scene with his dark techno sound and has been a regular headline DJ around the world.
For hardcore clubbers, The Tidy Boys and friends pay a visit to the O2 Academy Bournemouth with Back 2 Front. The duo return for a special one-off four hour jubilee set featuring other DJ’s BK, Andy Farley, Kym Ayres, Flash Harry, Velos, Max Mozart and more.
The event starts at 10pm and finishes at 5am. For dancefloor action tonight, head to The Winchester where Special Branch presents DJ legend Darren Emerson.
Like Carl Cox, Darren emerged from the burgeoning dance scene of the early 90s as a member of the band Underworld. This is a unique opportunity to see kick off the jubilee bank holiday madness in the company of a much sought after global DJ.
