LOTS of us will be getting into the Jubilee spirit and flying the union flag over the next four days - but do you know which way up it should be?
Echo reader Meryl Ponsford got in touch to point out that many people didn't know the correct way to fly the red, white and blue.
Traditionally, flying a flag upside down is understood as a distress signal.
How to tell
The broader (wider) diagonal white stripe should be at the top on the side of the flag nearest the flagpole.
