A CYCLIST has been robbed in broad daylight after withdrawing money from a Bournemouth cash machine.
The 20-year-old man, who lives locally, was confronted by two men at Iddesleigh Road, Charminster, at around 9.10am on Tuesday. They made off through the nearby cemetery with more than £100.
Appealing for witnesses, PC Lee Harrison of Bournemouth Police, said: “The victim had only just withdrawn money from a cash point in Charminster when he was approached by the robbers. It’s possible that they had followed him for some distance.”
Both robbers are white, in their mid-20s, with a large build and at least 6ft tall, with short black hair.
One was wearing a cream round-neck jumper, with shiny blue tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. His accomplice was tanned and wearing a navy blue Lonsdale jumper with red text, shiny blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Witnesses should call police on 101.
