A POOLE man has been jailed for 16 years today for a catalogue of historic child sex abuse offences.
Terence Sutton, 68, from Turlin Road, Hamworthy, admitted 12 sex abuse offences spanning a decade, first raping his victim at the age of nine.
Wessex CPS senior crown prosecutor Julia Woodward said: “Sutton subjected his victim to more than a decade of sexual abuse.
“He took advantage of her innocence and vulnerability. She had the bravery to come forward and report her ordeal to the police.”
