Dorset Art Weeks
Explore the glorious work of local artists at Dorset art weeks, running now until June 10. Among the artists in Poole exhibiting their work are a family of three – Evie Hatch, 17, and her parents Steve Batty, The Reverend Canon Stephen Batty, Vicar of St. Aldhelm’s Church, Branksome and Frances Hatch, painter and senior tutor at West Dean College. The Jigsaw Appeal is holding an exclusive dinner at the Chewton Glen Hotel on June 15 at 7.30pm with a guest appearance by TV chef James Martin. Knoll Gardens wildlife Making your garden wildlife-friendly is the subject of a series of open days on the last Friday of each month at Wimborne’s Knoll Gardens. The final open day takes place on June 29. The RSPB and Dorset Wildlife Trust will be on hand with advice about how you can create the right conditions to attract birds, butterflies, bees and other wildlife to your garden.
