HAPLESS Norfolk DJ Alan Partridge makes his debut on Sky Atlantic on Monday at 9pm.

The brand new one hour special, entitled Alan Partridge: Welcome to the Special Places of my Life, features as part of the channel's new comedy Mondays launch.

Steve Coogan's creation will also appear in other specials commissioned by the channel to be screened later in the month.

Critically acclaimed HBO sitcom Veep will premiere on the same night, which stars Seinfeld actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus as US Vice President Selina Meyer.
