THE Voice UK live tour - which was due to kick off in Bournemouth in September - has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
This weekend, winner Leanne Mitchell failed to chart with her first single, a cover of Whitney Houston's Run to You, which she performed on the BBC show.
The Voice started well, attracting audiences of more than 10million for its early "blind" rounds, but ratings fell once the live shows began, with critics saying it was too similar to the X-Factor.
The tour was also due to visit Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Glasgow and Sheffield, but none of the dates will now go ahead.
Those with tickets are advised to contact their point of sale for refunds.
