Will Team GB win a medal today? Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield (that should read "Southampton's Pete Waterfield" of course) stand a good chance in the synchronised diving, assuming they don't have another falling out mid-contest. (Tom's got an extraordinary trick on the trampoline by the way). They're on at 3pm. Portsmouth's Gemma Spofford goes in the 100m backstroke at 8.15pm and Britain's Louis Smith leads the men's gymnastic team out at 4.30pm.
Will Team Dorset win a medal today? No actual medals today, but Poole match racers Lucy Macgregor, Annie Lush and Kate Macgregor will be looking to build on a steady opening day, William Fox-Pitt will saddle up Lionheart for the cross country stage at Greenwich Park from 12.30pm and Ben Ainslie, Andrew Simpson and Iain Percy are also back in action in Weymouth.Poole's Lucy Wicks closes the day for our Olympians when she joins Team GB's volleyball women for their match against Algeria at 10pm. You can follow them all in our live sport blog.
The one to read: Barely had 16-year-old Ye Shiwen climbed out of the pool after winning gold on Saturday than the questions started about her performance - seven seconds faster than her previous best. Fair comment? Or should we celebrate her achievement until and unless there's evidence that we shouldn't? A very interesting perspective here and even more interesting comments, including the astonishing fact that in the last 25 m she swam faster than USA superstar Ryan Lochte did in the final 25m of his race.
The one to watch: Men's gymnastics is our pick today - Team GB are competing in their first final for 88 years, and given that they're the team who won Britain's first ever gold at the European championships they're definitely in the running - but even if they weren't it would be worth a watch for 39-year-old Jordan Jovtchev from Bulgaria, competing in his SIXTH Olympic final on the rings.
He's the oldest gymnast in the competition, he's got a torn bicep and a "half way broken" wrist, and admits his chances of a medal are slim. But he's bound to get an ecstatic reception from the crowd - and we're bound to see him in every Olympics montage between now and Christmas.
