DETECTIVES investigating the shooting of Reece James Menzies made further arrests yesterday as the hunt for the missing weapon continues.
The 21-year-old new dad was found dead at his flat, at the junction of Roumelia Lane and Sea Road in Boscombe, in the early hours of Wednesday July 25. He had sustained a gunshot wound in the head.
Yesterday morning a 29-year-old London man and a Bournemouth woman, aged 22, were arrested at an address in Westbourne on suspicion of conspiracy to murder Reece.
Detectives have also carried out further searches in Bournemouth and London.
DCI Pam Trevillion, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “The investigation team is still making active inquiries in relation to Reece’s death and we continue to search for the firearm that was used during this incident.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
• Three London men – 33-year-old Wayne Stephenson, 22-year-old Keifer Hutchinson and 24-year-old Jerome Parkinson – have been charged with Reece’s murder.
