A PRANKSTER has again painted a Southbourne post box – but this time it looks like they were spotted.
The mystery painter has missed patches, as if they had to escape at short notice.
The box, on the corner of Arnewood Road and Southbourne Road, pictured, has previously been painted black and then cream in overnight artistic raids.
It has been featured in the Daily Echo and on local TV news.
Nichola Pack, from the nearby Southbourne Grove Hotel, said: “We have noticed it changing colour but we haven’t got a clue why somebody is doing it.
“It was repainted red and then somebody tried to paint it black but it looks a bit like a ladybird.
“I would say it started off as a prank and now they have carried on because of the attention.”
The Royal Mail has previously said it could not think of a reason for the raids and that it would repaint it red.
