MORE than 500 motorbikes pulled up and enjoy the opening night of a motorcycle event on Poole Quay.
A warm and sunny summer evening on Tuesday June 2 drew in the crowds to the 2021 Poole Dream Machines to its first meet since the lifting of lockdown restrictions.

A spokesman from BCP Council said: “Organised and managed by the BCP Council Events Team the event regularly witnesses superbikes and custom builds to vintage classics and trikes.
“The Quay and Harbour offer the perfect backdrop for showing off a superb range of motorbikes where bikers and spectators enjoy a unique relaxed atmosphere, even when needing to observe Covid regulations.
“With a great selection of waterside cafés, bars, restaurants and food kiosks, it is also the perfect place to relax and have a bite to eat while enjoying the event.”
The bike meet also host a weekly ‘Bike of the Night’ competition which was given to the owner of a classic black Royal Enfield bike.
The winner received a special prize of bike cleaning kit courtesy of Muc-Off Ltd.
