COASTGUARD teams were tasked to help occupants of a submerged boat at Lake Pier in Hamworthy.
Southbourne Coastguard and Poole Coastguard Rescue Team were sent to Lake Pier on Saturday evening.
A spokesperson for Southbourne Coastguard said: “Tasked at 6.56pm by the joint rescue co-ordination centre to reports of a submerged motor vessel near to Lake Pier, Hamworthy, Poole.
“We were tasked to provide back up to Poole Coastguard Rescue Team.
“Once on scene we confirmed with units already in area that all occupants were safely ashore and no pollution was evident.
“With assistance from RNLI Poole Lifeboat Station, advice was given to the vessel owners of a possible risk to life by attempting to recover the vessel before low tide.
“However, the vessel was recovered by the owner while units stood by if required.
“Once the recovery was completed by the owner and all persons were safely ashore all rescue assets were released to return to station.”
