People who receive the coronavirus vaccine will be given a card to show others they have had the vaccine and remind them to get the second dose..
A picture of the card has been released by the government as the UK prepares for the national rollout from tomorrow.
The card is light blue and white and features the NHS logo with people who receive the vaccine being asked to keep the card in their purse or wallet.
It will provide details of when and were the vaccine was given.
The cards have been revealed as the first batch of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine arrived over the weekend and the first vaccinations will start from Tuesday, December 8.
The first vaccine to be clinically approved by British regulators will require two separate jabs spaced 21 days apart.
Vaccinations will start being administered from Tuesday with people over the age of 80, care home workers and frontline NHS staff who are at higher risk first in line.
The UK has ordered enough doses to vaccinate 20 million people and there are 800,000 doses being made available initially meaning 400,000 people will be vaccinated.
Public Health England and the NHS in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will be undertaking the distribution across the UK as pictures emerged of the vaccine arriving at Croyden University Hospital over the weekend.
Last week health secretary Matt Hancock told the BBC: "From next week, we'll be able to start rolling this out.
"We'll start with those who are most vulnerable to coronavirus.
"Once we've protected the most vulnerable it will help us all get back to normal and back to all the things that we love."
