Great British Bake Off (GBBO) returned for the fourth episode of the 2021 series last week with one baker winning the star baker accolade and another leaving the show.
Each week amateur bakers take part in cake challenges where they attempt to pull off signature, technical and showstopper bakes.
Every episode is a combination of a baking week and last week’s episode showed the bakers taking on dessert week.
Who left Great British Bake Off last week?
Unfortunately, another episode of GBBO meant another contestant had to leave.
This time it was Maggie’s turn to say goodbye to the Bake Off tent.
The 70-year-old retired midwife and nurse from Dorset will not take part in any further challenges.

What is this week’s theme on Great British Bake Off?
It's German week and this week the amateur bakers will take on baking challenges such as traditional Christmas biscuits, a technical with multiple layers and a yeasted showstopper.
Not only will the bakers need to impress the judges again, they also have stiff competition in German baker, Jürgen.
Great British Bake Off will continue to air on Channel 4 on Tuesdays at 8pm.
