Inspiring a whole generation of DIY home designers, Changing Rooms showed you how to transform your home with a limited budget but a lot of imagination.
Launching onto our screens back in 1996 the show featured friends or neighbours swapping homes and decorating a room in the other person’s house.
Originally presented by Carol Smillie, there were also a host of talented designers featured and, of course, Cockney carpenter, "Handy" Andy Kane.
