Asda has revealed its 2022 Christmas food range during the same week a heatwave and record-breaking temperatures were experienced in the UK.
Products in the range will launch in Autumn and Winter this year and include a Double Smash ‘Jingle’ Reindeer Cake as well as a Tomahawk Wellington.
Customers can choose from 740 items so there’s something for everyone’s Christmas table.
The supermarket’s Extra Special range has grown to more than 280 items in all categories across the store.

Asda reveals Christmas food range 2022
Asda’s Christmas range is inclusive of all dietary requirements and the retailer has 61 Vegan Society approved and 51 festive Free From products.
To make the range suitable for all ages, the novelty character chosen for this year is Jingle the Reindeer.
There are 17 items with a Jingle the Reindeer theme including Mini Rolls and Gingerbread.
Key trends and flavours found in the range this year are charred, mushroom and citrus.
