The Lionesses have secured a victory against Haiti in the group stages for the Women's World Cup 2023.
Georgia Stanway secured the first goal in the 29th minute after firing the ball into the back of the net during a second attempt at a penalty.
The first shot missed but it was retaken after the referee found that the Haitian Goalie stood off the line
No other goals were forthcoming for England but they did have a commanding control of the game with a pocession of 75%.

However, the Haitian team still posed some threat, taking 7 shots to England's 25.
Stanway and Hemp received yellow cards with the Caribbean side receiving one at the match which took place at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
