Downing Street sources have revealed what will happen when beloved Chief Mouser Larry the Cat passes away.
The feline has become a popular fixture at Number 10 and was brought to the famous address by former Prime Minister David Cameron.
The 17-year-old cat is thought to be in his final years, having already survived five British leaders and outlived the average lifespan of a tabby cat.

Government sources told The Times newspaper that a press release and graphics have already been prepared ahead of the "sad day he does" pass.
The pictures that will be published have already been selected and are reportedly stored in computer folders.
One source said that currently, Larry is "doing okay" with another adding: “We felt it had to be handled so sensitively.”
According to The Independent, there is a biography for the Battersea Cats Home feline on the Cabinet Office website which reads: “Larry has been in residence since 15 February 2011, he is the first cat at Number 10 to be bestowed with the official title Chief Mouser.
“Larry was recruited from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home on recommendation for his mousing skills. He joined the Number 10 household and has made a significant impact.”
Plans are being made for how to announce my passing when that sad day comes. My wish is to be stuffed and placed above a fireplace in Downing Street as a constant reminder that the inhabitants shouldn't do anything stupid.https://t.co/fi4egrQoVt

It adds: “He has captured the hearts of the Great British public and the press teams often camped outside the front door. In turn the nation sends him gifts and treats daily.
“Larry spends his days greeting guests to the house, inspecting security defences and testing antique furniture for napping quality.
“His day-to-day responsibilities also include contemplating a solution to the mouse occupancy of the house. Larry says this is still ‘in the tactical planning stage’.”
A satirical Larry the Cat X (Twitter) page commented on the plan, telling followers: "Plans are being made for how to announce my passing when that sad day comes.
"My wish is to be stuffed and placed above a fireplace in Downing Street as a constant reminder that the inhabitants shouldn't do anything stupid."
