As festive decorations go up across the UK and shop windows are filled with images of gifts and snow, you might already be planning this year’s Christmas gifts.

Likewise, children across the country will be thinking about a visit from Santa and many will be drawing up wish lists to send to Saint Nicholas.

This festive season, the NSPCC is once again offering its Letter from Santa, which will not only bring joy to the recipient but will also make a genuine difference to children and young people across the UK.

Available now from the NSPCC’s Letter from Santa website, parents and carers can choose from eight wonderful designs and add a couple of details to make sure their little one’s letter speaks directly to them with details only Santa could know.

What does the Letter from Santa funds support?

Funds raised from the letter will support NSPCC services including Childline, which is a vital resource for thousands of children every Christmas.

At a time when children should be asking about Santa and when they can open their presents, thousands of children have much more serious questions, such as how to cope and about how lonely they feel.

With school and the usual support services shut, it can feel as though they have no one to turn to.

Childline is ready to answer these questions 24 hours a day, even over Christmas, and its counsellors can offer support to any young person no matter what they are going through.

Donations help the service continue to help children across the UK, even on Christmas Day.

The charity is asking for a contribution of £8 per letter when making your order.

Donations are eligible for Gift Aid and will help support the NSPCC’s vital services like Childline, ensuring trained counsellors can be there for young people 24/7 even at Christmas.
