IN-FORM Ben Benham won his pre-quarters schoolboy championships final bout at Feltham College.
The 13-year-old Blandford boxer won a majority decision over Saifullah Khan from Barking Club South London.
Benham, boxing out of the blue corner, was a similar height to Khan, who was five months older with a slight reach advantage.
In the first round, Benham dominated by using his fast footwork to pick off his opponent with a flurry of punches.
Standing his ground in the second round, Benham continued to use combinations, a strong jab, and counter punching while Khan struggled to make contact in a more even round.
Benham secured his place in this weekend’s quarter-finals (Grove Road, London) by clinching the final round on points.
