An extra-time thunderbolt from substitute Dan Fairbairn helped Poole Town Youth clinch the county cup against local rivals Poole Town Wessex.
Poole Youth started the stronger of the two teams and took the lead thanks to a header from Bailey Allen.
Their dominant play was further rewarded when Jamie Arnold fired in a powerful shot from the right to give his side a 2-0 advantage at the interval.
Wessex came back into the match in the second half. A good spell of possession led to Luke Nippard netting twice to take the match into extra-time.
But the match swung back in Poole Youth’s favour when Fair-bairn’s shot through a crowded penalty box found the net.
