BLANDFORD United’s bid for a Dorset Cup winning double was dashed by Ilchester Youth at Ferndown.
Simon Davies’s side, who won the Dorset Cup at under-12s, were hit for six by their Somerset opponents who made the switch from the Yeovil and District League to the Dorset League this season.
Tom Davies scored Blandford’s consolation goal.
