JOSH Moores, Harry Pritchard and Mitchell Pocklington all swept the board in their categories at the 2013 MCF Merdian National Motocross event.
The Ringwood Motocross Club’s showpiece occasion, which took place at the Tincleton circuit in Puddletown Forest, saw Moores triumph in all of the Novice Adults trophy races, seeing off the challenge of runner-up Louis Parker and third-placed Jack Izzard.
Pritchard dominated the Big-wheel 85cc class to become Meridian champion for 2013, despite most of his battles with Sam Lycett, who dusted himself off to take second place, and Tom Shulter going to the wire. Shulter narrowly secured third spot ahead of the tenacious Joshua Coltart.
Pocklington bagged a maximum score by winning all of his races in the Automatic 50cc category, adding the Best of British crown to his growing trophy collection, while Oscar Murray again improved his times to claim second place from a large chasing pack. Callum Clarke took the final podium place despite close attention from challengers Ben Holland, Sol Osborne and Ashton Potter.
Jamie Carpenter raised the bar in the Youth Rookies class, dominating proceedings each day to become Meridian champion from Tallon Aspden, who served up some fantastic racing to take the overall runners-up spot.
Charlie Cole was the best of a strong Small-wheel 85cc line up and raced the rough, sandy soil at a frightning pace to win his class ahead of Ryan Tanner in second.
Hampshire youngster Cain Marsh won a closely-contested Junior 65cc section despite banging bars with Jack Carpenter on the second day, taking victory ahead of his nearest challenger Ollie Cole in second and Joe Leyland in third.
The top girl racer of the weekend was Molly Cutler in the Automatic 50cc section in a terrific competition that saw 220 competitors take part.
