ROHAN Tungate remains confident he will be fit enough to feature for Poole Pirates on Wednesday, despite being sidelined at Ipswich on Thursday.
The 23-year-old withdrew from the Witches’ Premier League clash with Scunthorpe after a spill in his first heat caused pain in his shoulder and hip.
And although the in-form Aussie has suffered several skirmishes in recent weeks, Tungate still thinks he’ll be fit to fly against Belle Vue next week.
Tungate told the Daily Echo: “I think I’ll be alright. I’ll have a few days out and that should be enough time to recover."
"Hopefully I can have a practice session on Tuesday to test myself but I am pretty certain it will be alright."
