CHRISTCHURCH are looking for their third manager of the season after boss Gary Parrett resigned from the post at Hurn Bridge following his side's 1-1 draw with Bemerton.
Parrett, who only took the reins from Andy Leader in December, saw Robbie Woolner's first-half opener cancelled out by a penalty - but then dropped the bombshell in the dressing room after the game insisting "it was the right thing to do".
The ex-Priory boss told the Daily Echo: "I just thought it was the right thing to do considering the circumstances.
"I'm disappointed it hasn't worked out, but at least it gives me a chance to spend more time with my family."
Christchurch director of football Mick Ryan said: "The job was never given to Gary on a permanent basis - we wanted to have a look and see how things went and perhaps it hasn't gone 100 per cent as we would have liked.
"Gary felt the vibes weren't right and decided to resign. But we were not convinced he was the right person to take the club forward.
"We're grateful for what he's done and wish him all the best for the future."
Skipper Lloyd Jenvey and defender Lee Hodder have assumed temporary control with Ryan back involved with the running of the team for Tuesday's home clash with Alton.
Ryan said: "We'll advertise the position and take things from there. I can categorically say no manager has been approached about taking the job over as yet.
"It's disappointing the way things have worked out, but it was very amicable."
Priory: Taylor, Stone, Hodder, Crutchley, Hughes, Atkins, Lawrence, Jenvey, Price, Woolner, Roberts (Puckett, 70). Unused subs: Truan, Whitehouse.
