EAST Dorset coach Stu Wilson hailed his players' "mentality" after their 33-0 Dorset and Wilts Plate demolition of Marlborough at North Dorset.
East have already sealed the Hampshire Two title and made it a double success for Wilson with Saturday's easy victory.
Wilson said: "The mentality of the players is fantastic. We had the game won but their only concern was to stop Marlborough scoring.
"It was a great result and we now look forward to playing Fordingbridge next week, as they have been promoted alongside us."
Wilson's troops opened the scoring through Karl Williams after a quarter of an hour.
Williams quickly followed up moments with another try before Rich Haigh added the conversion to increase the advantage.
Captain Morgan Leadbitter also found a way through just before half-time after some clever work from the line-out.
Haigh was again on hand with the kick and East were firmly in control.
After the restart Marlborough looked to use the advantage of the wind to peg Wilson's charges back, but the plan failed as East continued to apply the pressure.
And it wasn't long before another snatch in the line-out released flying Frenchman Stephane Bailly, whose pace saw him away from the Marlborough defence to score.
The tries continued to flow with Karl Bumstead increasing the deficit and Haigh again was on target with the conversion.
East Dorset: Edmonds, Haigh, Williams, Bumstead, Bailly, Dean, Bradley, Horrex, Hayward, Carter, Brooks, Brencher, Herringshaw, Leadbitter, Ramsey. Subs: Jefferies, Wall, Corbett, Robinson, Stapleton.
