CHERRIES youth-team striker Joe Quigley has been named player of the season.
The frontman helped Carl Fletcher’s side win the Youth Alliance south west title before earning his first professional contract.
Quigley is currently on loan at Southern League Premier Division outfit Poole Town, who could tomorrow earn promotion to Conference South.
Speaking to the Cherries website, Quigley said: “The award has topped off a really good second year in the youth team for me.
“I’ve knuckled down and tried to give my all this season. I think I’ve improved on and off the pitch.
“Joe and Carl have been massive in that, as well as the rest of the coaching staff, including the sport scientists and tutors. They have all helped me push on.”
