CHERRIES under-21s quartet Jordan Lee, Callum Buckley, Joe Quigley and Pat O’Flaherty have penned fresh one-year deals at the club.

The youngsters have all had some involvement in the first team set-up this term, including defender Lee who made his debut in the FA Cup win over Birmingham.

Buckley, 20, is on loan at National South side Eastbourne Borough while Quigley has had spells at Torquay United, Wrexham and now Woking.

Goalkeeper O’Flaherty is plying his trade with Southern South & West outfit Wimborne Town.

“These lads have earned themselves new contracts,” said under-21s coach Stephen Purches.

“Since signing their first professional terms they have shown a great willingness to improve.

“They are making the most of being in and around senior players at the club and during their loan spells which will help them progress.”

Purches was speaking to the club website.
