EDDIE Howe has urged Lys Mousset to give him a selection headache.

The Frenchman capped an eye-catching performance against AC Milan on Saturday with a stunning long-range goal as Cherries were narrowly beaten 2-1 by the Rossoneri.

The 20-year-old, signed from Le Havre over the summer, replaced Jack Wilshere at half-time during Warren Cummings's testimonial and proceeded to give the Milan defence a torrid time during a lively second half.

And boss Howe admitted Mousset would do no harm to his chances of featuring further if he continued to turn in similar displays.

Howe told the Echo: "Lys will come into the frame if he carries on playing like he did. He came on and could have scored three or four and that's the biggest compliment I can pay him. He was terrific.

"He has a great attitude and has been a joy to work with. He's hungry and motivated and most importantly he wants to score goals and has that mindset. He is very direct and will take the bull by the horns and attack."
