CHERRIES boss Eddie Howe has revealed his delight at the early-season form of goalkeepers Artur Boruc and Adam Federici.
The experienced Boruc has started all three of Cherries' Premier League games so far this campaign against Manchester United, West Ham and Crystal Palace.
Federici, who at 31 is five years Boruc's junior, played in last month's EFL Cup victory over Morecambe.
Reflecting on the displays of the duo in the aftermath of the draw at Palace, Howe told the Daily Echo: “Both our goalkeepers did well in pre-season and at the start of the season itself.
“I thought Feds did well against Morecambe and Artur was magnificent against Crystal Palace. The penalty was the highlight but there were several other key moments in there.
“I thought he was excellent all game. He’s such a big player for us and you see the difference it makes to us when he has a game like that."
Both players have been away with their countries during the international break, Boruc with Poland and Federici with Australia.
In their absence, Ryan Allsop took his place between the sticks for Saturday's 2-1 friendly defeat to Italian giants AC Milan, with Jordan Holmes replacing him at half-time.
