BOURNEMOUTH-born Charlie Ewels has retained his place in the England set-up ahead of this weekend's clash with Argentina at Twickenham.
The Bath Rugby lock made his debut for the national side when he replaced Courtney Lawes for the final 14 minutes of Saturday's 58-15 hammering of Fiji.
And ex-Bournemouth School pupil Ewels will continue to train with his England colleagues this week in the build up to the meeting with the Pumas.
Reflecting on his England debut, the 21-year-old wrote on Twitter: "Thank you for the messages past couple of days. It's a dream come true. Great to have mum and dad there to celebrate my first cap with me."
Ewels's chances of being handed a second outing against Argentina may have been dented by the return of Saracens second-row George Kruis.
Kruis missed the start of the autumn campaign with an ankle injury but has now linked up with Eddie Jones and co at their training base at Pennyhill Park.
Former Lytchett Minster star Semesa Rokoduguni will hope to retain his starting spot after twice touching down in the emphatic victory over Fiji.
