CHERRIES frontmen Harry Cornick and Joe Quigley are both understood to have held talks regarding the possibility of a permanent move to Blackpool.
It is believed the pair were given permission to speak to the League One outfit after a joint fee had been agreed between the clubs.
Cornick, who is also a target for Luton, and Quigley apparently headed to the North West to meet Blackpool officials over the weekend.
The duo both came through the Cherries development ranks but have found their progress stunted following the club’s rapid rise to the Premier League.
Poole-born Cornick joined Cherries from Wessex League Christchurch in 2013 after boss Eddie Howe had read about his exploits in the Daily Echo.
The 22-year-old winger has made one substitute appearance for the first team, coming on in a 5-1 win at Rotherham in the third round of the FA Cup in January 2015.
Cornick, who came off the bench in the recent pre-season friendly against Valencia, had loan spells at Welling, Aldershot and Havant & Waterlooville during the early stages of his Cherries career.
He played 42 games and netted eight times during a season-long loan at Yeovil in 2015-16 before having temporary spells at Leyton Orient and Gillingham last season.
Cornick and Quigley joined Gillingham in a double loan swoop in January and helped the Kent outfit preserve their League One status.
Lymington-raised Quigley had earlier seen a loan spell at Gillingham cut short after he suffered a cruciate ligament injury just three games into last season.
The 20-year-old striker, who was called up by Republic of Ireland under-21s in March, bagged his first goal in the Football League during a 1-1 draw with Millwall in April.
Schooled at Priestlands in Lymington, Quigley also spent time on loan at National League outfits Torquay, Wrexham and Woking in 2015-16.
