FLEETWOOD Town boss Uwe Rosler admitted Baily Cargill's exit had come about because he could not guarantee the youngster playing time.
Defender Cargill was recalled by Cherries earlier this week and was immediately sent out on loan again, this time to Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle.
Although the 22-year-old had made 18 appearances for Fleetwood, he had not featured in League One since the 2-0 loss to Gillingham before Christmas.
Rosler admitted a switch from three to two centre-halves following that defeat had been a key factor.
He told The Gazette: “He came here on the back of a three-week hamstring injury and that made his start a little bit more challenging. He got better, no question about it.
“Since we went back to two central defenders, he found it hard to get regular playing time.
“We could not guarantee that any more and I think it was the logical consequence for Bournemouth to protect their asset by recalling him.
“I learned a lot from him and he learned a lot from us about what is needed to play week in, week out in league football.
"I am 100 per cent sure he will make a good impression at Partick Thistle. I wish him all the best.”
