DETERMINED full-back Charlie Seaman is eager to force his way closer to Cherries’ first-team.
The 18-year-old signed his first professional deal at Vitality Stadium this summer having joined the Dorset club from West Ham two years ago.
Seaman had been part of Cherries’ travelling party for Premier League trips to Liverpool and Watford last season.
And having experienced time around Eddie Howe’s squad, the defender is aiming to make his mark in a playing capacity.
The youngster told the club website: “My goal is to push closer towards the first team during the summer and then the new season. There are pre-season games coming up and I’m hoping to get some game time in them.
“I need to prove myself to Carl Fletcher and Eddie Howe and then, when it comes to the start of the season, I’ll hopefully be in a position to push forwards.”
He added: “I travelled to Watford and Liverpool in the Premier League as 19th man. They were two great experiences for me being around the first team and seeing how they prepare the night before.
“What they eat, how they sleep – It was good for me to learn before I get to that stage myself.”
