BOSS Eddie Howe insisted there was still work to do to ensure Cherries’ Premier League survival.
Saturday’s 2-0 victory at Huddersfield saw Cherries move up to 37 points for the top-flight campaign.
Howe’s troops, who entertain Newcastle on Saturday (3pm), are nine points clear of the drop zone with eight games remaining.
Put to him that he may not feel safe yet, Howe told the Daily Echo: “Well, we’re not and you can see in the results from the other teams last Saturday how tight the league is.
“What the Huddersfield win has done is bring us closer to some of the teams above us so we will look forward to the next few games.”
