CHERRIES full-back Adam Smith will miss tomorrow’s clash with Newcastle due to injury – and may not feature until the start of next month.
The 27-year-old was forced off during last Saturday’s 2-0 win at Huddersfield due to a hamstring problem.
And boss Eddie Howe admitted Smith could also be sidelined for the trip to Leicester after the international break.
That could result in a possible return to fitness ahead of the home game against Burnley on Saturday, April 6.
Howe said: “Adam has a small-grade hamstring strain so he will be missing.
“Whether he will make the first game back after the international break, I’m not sure at the moment.”
Howe confirmed Dan Gosling and Junior Stanislas would again miss out but said Ryan Fraser should be fit to play.
The boss said: “Dan is improving but won’t make this game. Hopefully, the international break will see him in much better shape.
“Junior is not quite ready yet and hasn’t trained but is improving.
“Ryan had a few knocks after the Huddersfield game. He missed the early part of training but should be fine.”
