THE Oakmeadians under-eight squad had a day to remember when they not only defeated their counterparts from Premiership giants Wasps and Saracens, but also got the chance to grace Twickenham's hallowed turf.
They successfully took part in a Tag Tournament, held at Harlequins' training ground and organised by London Irish.
Having enjoyed back-to-back wins against teams from Wasps and Saracens, the youngsters were beaten by Old Dunstablians.
But victory over Beaconsfield earned them selection to play at half-time during the Guinness Premiership match between London Irish and Harlequins in front of a crowd of more than 30,000 at rugby's HQ.
The Oaks youngsters played out an exhilarating game against Hertford to win their big match at Twickenham 4-3.
