BOURNEMOUTH Poppies boss James Wood said he would "take the positives" from his side's loss at VT ahead of tonight's tricky trip to Moneyfields (7.45pm).
Wood, who thinks having to travel to Portsmouth on a Tuesday night will make the match even more difficult, expects nothing less than a tough battle.
"Moneyfields is always a hard place to go but obviously being on a Tuesday doesn't help," he told the Daily Echo.
"They're always difficult to beat at their own place and the added factor of having to go to Portsmouth on a Tuesday means it won't be easy."
Wood will draw on the good points from his side's narrow 3-2 defeat against VT.
"We should've come out with at least a point," he said.
"Hopefully we'll bounce back strong because we need to get points on the board if we want to stay in touch with the leading group."
