Cherries are interested in signing striker Jay Rodriguez this summer, according to a report in the Express and Star.
The West Brom forward netted 22 goals in the Championship last season as the Baggies reached the play-offs.
But after losing to Aston Villa on penalties in the semi-finals, West Brom are facing up to another season in the second tier.
However, the report claims that Cherries are considering offering one-time England international Rodriguez a route back into the Premier League.
The striker's former club Burnley are also believed to be keen on the 29-year-old with the report claiming that the Clarets had a £16million bid for the forward turned down last summer.
Rodriguez, who played in 47 of West Brom's 48 league games in 2018-19, has worked with Eddie Howe before, during a fruitful spell at Turf Moor before he was sold to Southampton in the summer of 2012.
The striker still has two years remaining on his contract at the Hawthorns.
