OAKMEADIANS coach James Croker has thrown Ed Baylis and the returning Will Croker straight into the mix for selection against Wimborne tomorrow.

The pair left Bournemouth Lions earlier this week along with Tim Flower, who is unavailable for the match because he is going to watch England compete in the World Cup final in Paris.

And, with new options at his disposal, the Oaks boss was waiting to judge performances in the week's final training session yesterday before picking his starting XV.

"Selection isn't finalised yet," Croker told the Daily Echo.

"We've got guys back in training and the numbers are up so that leaves me in quite a good position to see who's there and what will work."

Croker admitted the local derby, which sees Oaks visit Leigh Park to face the All Blacks, is a "must win game".

"We still want a play-off place and have got to win these games if we're going to do that," he said.

"Wimborne are a steady team, they're decent out wide and up front.

"But we've got the potential to dominate certain areas against all teams.

"We haven't done that yet so I'm just waiting for us to click and hopefully this is the week."

Croker believes the return of Flower, Baylis and his brother Will can only help the team.

He said: "It bolsters the squad and the knock-on is that it's competitive in training and it's natural people will work harder.

"Training is going well and I'm just waiting for us to click into place."
