RINGWOOD Town continued their mini-revival with a second consecutive draw as they held Bemerton Heath Harlequins to a goalless draw.

The team have enjoyed an upturn in form since Jy Taylor took charge and they moved on to six points, but remain second from bottom and struggling in the Wessex Premier Division.

Taylor, a history teacher, was not present for Saturday's game as he was in Belguim on a school trip, but he heard good things about the performance.

"It was a really good result by all accounts," Taylor told the Daily Echo.

"We started with a good tempo then they came into it and were probably the better side for most of the first half.

"It was a similar story in the second half - pretty even.

"We had chances to win it and they had a lad sent off and we could've nicked it."

Taylor said the mood among his squad was getting better all the time, with Ringwood registering their first clean sheet of the campaign yesterday.

"That's absolutely vital for us and another step," he said.

"We've now got two points in two games against sides who will finish in the top 10.

"Everyone was buzzing after the game. I spoke to a couple of the lads, we're not getting carried away, but a couple of results helps get confidence going."
