CHERRIES have agreed a fee believed to be around £10million with Sheffield United for striker Lys Mousset.
The Frenchman, 23, joined Cherries from Le Havre in 2016 for a reported £5.7million and has made 71 appearances for the first team, mostly as a substitute.
Mousset has notched five goals in his time on the south coast, most recently in the 5-1 loss at Arsenal in February, his only Premier League start of 2018-19.
And the Daily Echo understands he is now close to completing a switch to Bramall Lane to sign for the Premier League's new boys.
Mousset did not feature for Cherries last night in their 3-2 win over AFC Wimbledon in La Manga.
The squad are set to travel to Barcelona today ahead of their second pre-season friendly against Girona on Saturday.
Mousset would become the fourth senior departure of the summer after Marc Pugh (released), Emerson Hyndman (Atlanta) and Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa).
