MARK Downs hit Rec Athletic for six when White Heather Hornets gave them a resounding 19-1 trouncing in the third round of the M A Hart Lawrence A Brivati Cup.
Also on target for Hornets, who playing the league below Athletic, were Danny Moore (4), Adam Light (3), Luke Ayrton (2), Rajesh Chengadu, Jamie Yeo, Hugo White and Bob Fox.
Ali Wiseman and Duncan Atkinson both grabbed hat-tricks when AFC Ringwood came back brilliantly from 3-0 down to beat Oakdale Conservative 7-3 while holders Roko Reserves ousted Rounders 3-0 with goals from Danny Snell (2) and Jes Horgan.
Mike Carroll tucked away a hat-trick for Roko in the third round of the M A Hart Robbins Cup and, with Sam Rocha and David Blake adding one each in the 5-1 win over Real Carling.
Matt Newbery and Mike Newbery struck for Parley Sports but Foresters Arms just got the better of them 4-2 after extra time thanks to Danny Swager, Tom Brown, Steve Forster and an own goal.
Hordle eased Shamrock out 3-0 with goals from Joe Turner (2) and Keith Williams while Heritage blitzed Kings Arms 8-0 courtesy of a Ross Parker hat-trick and further goals from Nick Mitchell (2), Andy Guppy (2) and Mark Berry.
Third division New Star Reserve pulled off an excellent 6-2 victory over Second Division AFC Burton in the third round of the M A Hart In-Excess Cup through Dan Weekes, Ben Bosley, Chris Foster and a Kev Palmer hat-trick while Kinson Conservative emerged 6-4 winners after extra time against Vienna Windows thanks to Wayne Fripp, Shayne Varley, Marley Green and a Rodrigo Pons hat-trick.
