MANCHESTER City and Leicester are both weighing up moves for Nathan Ake this week, according to reports.
Sky Sports claim that the Foxes are considering a bid for either Ake or Burnley's James Tarkowski to replace Harry Maguire, who is set for a big-money move to Manchester United.
The report states Leicester have "held informal conversations" about both centre-backs, adding that Cherries are "reluctant to let Ake leave" due to his importance to Eddie Howe's plans for the upcoming season.
Ake played in all 38 Premier League matches in 2018-19 and according to Sky Sports, is valued in excess of £40million.
Meanwhile, the Daily Express claim Man City are eyeing Ake after failing to seal a deal for Maguire.
The tabloid states that the Premier League champions have been "keeping tabs" on the Dutchman since last season.
Speaking to the Daily Echo about transfer speculation earlier this year, Ake said: “Rumours are going to come at one point. They are just rumours and won’t affect me.
“I love the club, I think everyone knows that. Over the past couple of years I have learned a lot about the club and have enjoyed playing for them.”
