BOURNEMOUTH have been boosted by the return of promotion-winning three-quarter Scott Chislett.

Chislett, a pivotal part of Lions' team elevated from South West Division Two East last season, has missed the opening six games of the new campaign.

But he could feature when the bottom-of-the-table Dorset club visit fellow strugglers Oxford Harlequins in Division One tomorrow (3pm).

Lions coach David Dunn said: "Scott has just spent six months playing in New Zealand. He was selected for Otago playing representative stuff at the end of their season.

"Scott has come back full of confidence and we are expecting him to challenge for a first team place again.

"He left the day after our play-off game against Brixham (which Lions won 43-12 on April 28 to secure promotion).

"Scott can play anywhere in the backs really. It is a question of linking him in with the other players.

"It's good he has come back into the squad."

Bournemouth follow their trip to Oxford with more league matches against the lowly pairing of Reading (home) and St Ives (away). Both sides are only two points above them.

Bournemouth then have a home match against mid-table Redingensians.

Dunn, whose side have lost all their games so far this season, said: "This is a crucial stage of the campaign.

"We deserve to be taking points and I'm sure we will turn it around."
