CHRISTCHURCH boss Graham Kemp was left to rue a late "lapse of concentration" as Moneyfields left Hurn Bridge with all three points.

Jason Prior put the visitors in front in the second minute with a brilliant 30-yard volley.

Paul Rideout levelled after 27 minutes when he latched on to Ben Osborne's through ball and beat Moneyfields' goalkeeper.

Priory had a goal correctly ruled out for a foul inside the box after Lee Hodder had headed in a corner in the 44th minute.

But they crashed to defeat after Abdoulie Nidoye had finished off a counter attack with 15 minutes to go.

Kemp said: "I'm very disappointed because it was probably the best we have played this season.

"Their manager even admitted it after the game. He said the best team had lost.

"We just have to take it on the chin and try and build on this display in our next game and hopefully get our rewards then."

Kemp added: "For half-an-hour of the second half we were the better side.

"We created three or four great chances but Mark Burrows went one-on-one with their keeper and put it wide.

"There was a cross from the left and Dave Midgeley put in a header from two yards that our players thought was over the line, but the ref didn't give it.

"A lapse of concentration with a quarter-of-an-hour to go cost us. We were going forward looking for a winner and they broke and scored on the counter.

"We created six or seven great chances in the whole match and just didn't take them.

"I couldn't have asked for anything else from the lads because for 89-and-a-half minutes we did all what we had to do.

"But for half a minute we didn't and it has lost us the game."
