WIMBORNE player-manager Christer Warren has stressed they will not be looking to stage Friday night games at Cuthbury.
The Premier Division title challengers have the highest average attendance - 192 - in the Sydenhams Wessex League this season.
So the former Cherries and Southampton star believes there is no reason to switch.
Wessex League fixture secretary Malcolm Watts had suggested Wimborne and Brockenhurst had been talking about playing on a Friday evening at the end of next month.
But Warren said: "We have had a chat about it and we want to play our games on Saturday.
"We are more than happy with our games on a Saturday and don't think it will make any difference to us or our crowds."
Warren added: "We understand why other clubs are trying to play on Fridays.
"The thinking is people will go and see other games on a Saturday, and maybe if they played on a Friday, they will get more people through the gate because there is normally only one game to watch that night."
Warren drafts Gary Langrish, Sam Percival and John McMahon into Wimborne's squad for their Dorset Senior Cup second round home tie against Shaftesbury tonight (7.30pm).
