CHERRIES loan manager Carl Fletcher has been offered the job as Leyton Orient boss, the Daily Echo understands.
Fletcher changed roles at Cherries last year having previously coached the club's under-21s.
But he is now close to leaving the club as he looks to agree terms with League Two Orient, with a deal increasingly likely.
Ross Embleton is currently in temporary charge of the O's, having replaced the late Justin Edinburgh over the summer after the club clinched promotion from the National League.
Fletcher has previously managed in the Football League with Plymouth Argyle between 2011 and 2013.
No decision has yet been made on who would replace former Cherries midfielder Fletcher as loan manager.
